Giving back to our community

Jordan a salon ~ day spa is committed to our community and giving back to many worthy causes both locally and nationally. Our team donates hundreds of volunteer hours throughout the year, using their time, talent, and services to help support many programs and events.

Earth Month 2008
In support of Earth Month, we were excited to be a part of Aveda's Cut-a-thon and Spa-lon-a-thon on April 20th at the Minneapolis Aveda Institute.

The money raised will go towards:
• Working to keep the CWA strong as it was intended – to protect ALL America’s waters.
• Demand the EPA enforces the CWA
• Keep spreading the word,educating and activating people to protect our water.
• Making sure the media covers these issues.

Diva Minnesota
On March 8th 2008, many of our stylist volunteered their hairstyling talents at the Diva Minnesota Fundraiser. All proceeds raised that night will be used to support MN non-profits working to reduce HIV infections and /or treat those living with the disease.

“Locks of Love” is a public non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children, under age 18, suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis. We offer a free haircut to anyone who meets the Locks of Love guidelines and is able to donate 10 inches of their hair.

During the month of October we raised hundreds of dollars for breast cancer awareness month. We hosted a bake sale and donated many of our services to this worthy cause. For more information or to make a donation visit Susan G Komen For The Cure.
